The voluntary POA is focused on the maintenance of the main road that provides access to all communities. 

 

The POA Maintains the first 1.4 miles of Big Ben Road from the mailboxes at Boardtown Road through the intersection of Big Ben Road and Gobbler Knob Road, AND 0.4 miles of Gobbler Knob Road for a total of 1.8 miles.

Short Term Rental - Gilmer County Ordinance

Please note that the POA is not involved with the County Ordinance on any level. This is for informational purpose only.

  All short-term rental properties must be registered with Gilmer County to comply with the new ordinance. Owners of residential property rentals available for a period of time not to exceed 30 days must obtain an annual license and comply with rules and regulations listed in the Ordinance.
